Places of interest include The Mermaid of the North, a dramatic sculpture built into the rock and almost submerged at high tide – one of a series of sculptures along the seaboard village coastline. The Pictish Trail runs right along the coastline here and includes a number of historic standing stones as well as an award-winning museum, The Tarbat Discover Centre.
