Visitor Facilities
Travelling the NC500? Make the Seaboard Centre your perfect coastal stopover.
Located right on the seafront, our car park offers stunning, uninterrupted views across the Moray Firth — an ideal place to relax, recharge, and take in the beauty of the Highlands. Right next to the carpark there is a seafront tennis court and children’s playpark.
Our visitor facilities are available for public use 24 hours a day, making us a convenient and welcoming stop at any time.
Facilities available:
- Free-to-use disabled access toilet
- Free-to-use chemical waste toilet disposal
- Free-to-use fresh water top-up
- Disabled access shower (chargeable)
- Washing machine (chargeable)
- Tumble dryer (chargeable)
- Hairdryer (20p per use)
Note: We do not have a grey waste drain but you are welcome to fill any containers you have and dispose of your grey waste at the chemical waste toilet disposal.
All chargeable facilities operate using £1 coin-operated machines (except the hairdryer which is 20 pence)
The chemical waste disposal unit is located at the rear of the Seaboard Centre garage—just follow the signs on site.
You’re very welcome to stay overnight, and all we ask is for a small donation to support our community centre, helping us continue to provide these facilities for travellers like you.
While you’re here, be sure to explore a couple of local highlights:
- The Mermaid of the North — a must-see NC500 photo spot just a few metres along the beach from the carpark.
- The Hilton of Cadboll Stone base, located in our Visitor Centre just across from the car park, offering a fascinating glimpse into the area’s ancient Pictish past
- Balintore Harbour & Shandwick Beach – just a 5 minute walk from the carpark
Donations can be made by scanning the QR code in the car park or via our Donation Page here.
