Welcome to our cosy seafront café in the beautiful village of Balintore, overlooking the stunning waters of the Moray Firth. With breathtaking sea views right from your table, you might even spot dolphins and other local wildlife while you relax and unwind.

Delicious Home Cooked Dishes

Our menu is packed full of delicious home-cooked dishes made with care. We offer a great selection of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, ensuring there’s something for everyone. Each day, we also feature a Specials Board with a starter, main course, and dessert – perfect if you’re looking to try something new. We have a dedicated kids’ menu as well, making us a great spot for the whole family. We’re passionate about supporting our community and source many of our ingredients from local businesses wherever possible.

Sweet Treats

As well as our home-cooked meals, we’re lucky to have an amazing in-house baker who creates the most delicious cakes and desserts. From light, airy meringues and tray bakes to classic Victoria sponge and cherry Bakewell tart, there’s always something tempting on display – and plenty more besides. Trust us, you’ll want to try them all.

Coffee of the North

Our coffee is expertly roasted by the Inverness Coffee Roasting Company, bringing exceptional quality to every cup. We’re delighted to offer our signature Coffee of the North blend—crafted exclusively for us and inspired by the bold, distinctive flavours of the region. Available to savour in-house or purchase in our gift shop. You can purchase this delicious Ground & Whole Bean Coffee in our Gift Shop.

Breakfast by the Sea

You simply have to try our famous Balintore Breakfast – a hearty full Scottish breakfast featuring traditional Stornoway Black Pudding. It’s a firm favourite with locals and visitors alike.

On Tuesdays and Fridays, we offer our popular Pensioner Special for just £14.95, which includes:

- A starter and main, or
- A main and dessert
- Plus a free cup of tea or coffee.

Afternoon Teas

Treat yourself to one of our delicious Afternoon Teas, featuring a carefully prepared selection of savoury bites and sweet treats — perfect for a special occasion or a relaxing catch-up with friends.

Takeaway Service

You can pre-order your meals, and we also offer a convenient takeaway service. If the weather’s kind, enjoy our outdoor seating area and take in the sea view even more.

PET FRIENDLY

We’re proud to be a pet-friendly café, so your four-legged friends are always welcome! We even have special treats just for them, including our popular Pup Cakes and Puppaccinos – because they deserve a treat too.

Fish Friday Takeaway Night

Join us for our Fish Friday Takeaway Night, usually the last Friday of every month. (Check our diary for confirmation.) Alongside our freshly prepared fish and chips, we also serve a range of popular takeaway favourites, so there’s something for everyone.

Pre-order your takeaway and collect it between 5:00pm – 7:00pm.
