Join us on 27th September at 7:30pm for a screening of the classic film Local Hero

Local Hero is a charming 1983 comedy-drama about an American oil executive, played by Burt Lancaster, who is sent to a small Scottish village to purchase land for a refinery. As he negotiates the deal, he becomes enchanted by the local culture and the villageโ€™s quirky residents. The film beautifully explores themes of environmentalism, corporate greed, and the clash between modernisation and tradition, all with a touch of humour and heartwarming charm.
